Shouldn’t this be in the “trade and swap” forum? I think it would get more views.

Saw this ad at least a month or even more ago in Craigslist.
Apparently too much money for the typical wmass Craigslist viewer.
Try posting it in the Boston / Worcester area CL : )
I sold a jointer to a guy from R.I. that way.
Good luck.

I think they are all a little high; at least to me anyways. You can buy Swiss made carving tools for close to $40 each (average) new. I consider the Swiss made carving tools to be up near the top if not at the top.

You might be able to sell them on Ebay. I often see some people paying nearly what you pay for new tools on Ebay.

Thanks for the feedback everyone—they sure don’t make ‘em like this anymore.

@helluvawreck Agreed that Swiss Made are nice, but from my understanding you just can’t get this quality of workmanship anymore. Brass tangs, beautifully crafted from Sheffield & Eskilstuna steel—these beauties just appreciate in value if well cared for. If you think the pricing is too high, I’m wide open on this—feel free to make an offer.

@sikrap Will see if I can switch the category.

Cheers
Seth
