I first became aware of this competition a couple of months ago when I was trying to replace the plastic worm gear in my Triton 2.1/4 hp router( it was and still is free of charge to get this part from triton) ,but while I was searching I stumbled on this ”Triton’s ‘Rate, Review & Win’ Competition‏”Was sceptical at first but said to myself: so far they have been up front and decent with me ,I shouldn’t be so cynical so I just decided to enter the competition, wrote a quick ,truthful, straight to the point review on their router (MOF-001) and that was it,didn’t expect anything coming out of it specially since I have never ever won anything in my life.

Two weeks passed and I get this email from what seems to be their headquarter:
asking to verify my address and to notify me that I have won a Triton belt sander (TA1200-BS),I said yea right me winning something? but it was for real I did won a belt sander and received it 10 days later ,will do a review on it later but I mainly wanted all you good LJs here aware of this competition and encourage you to maybe do a review if you own a Triton product and see what happens, you never know right?I just hope the prize/conditions to enter this competition has not changed. Here’s the link:

Good for you Ken! I have been big on Triton for a couple of years, and in fact did review my Triton on LJs a couple of years ago.

I’ll look into it! Thanks!

Toolz,good luck.

H-mMike,that was a great review on 3.1/2 HP Triton router,I think these routers are not getting the attention or the respect they deserve,I have 4 other routers but this(2.1/4 hp Triton) is the most used router in my hobby shop.
Their belt sander is no slouch either,I’ll have to put it through it’s paces before I commit to a review.
