Why Can't I Read Project Comments?

For some reason, in the last 6 months or so, I can’t read project comments.

Nothing has changed on my laptop (that I know of), but since about then, the comment section below the project description won’t load. Or it will, but only intermitently, after re-loading the page a dozen times or more.

Is there a setting on my laptop, or with LJs that I need to reset? There are so many projects that I’d love to comment on, but I’m not able!

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Have you tried a different browser? there are some websites that I cannot see correctly on IE Explorer but show up OK on Firefox.

Greg, I only have IE, and don’t really have the storage capacity to add another browser. At some point, I’ll purchase a new laptop, but for now, this one will have to do!

Being that you seem to be the only one experiencing this, I would guess its likely somewhere
in your browser settings preventing you from being able to read comments.

What level is your browser security set to in internet settings ? Those internet settings would
be the first place I would look.

Also your hard drive could be acting up because its too full. Generally a hard drive
should have some head room. If its over 80% full, its time to delete some
things.

I didn’t mention it when I suggested deleting some programs on your hard-drive.But if you go
this route and decide to remove some stuff, let your operating system do it. Don’t manually delete
files.

Manually deleting can lead to problems with orphaned files not being deleted,etc. Just throwing that out
there.

Defragging is also a good idea whether you end up deleting anything or not. If I’m not mistaken, your hard drive
needs about 20 % of its capacity free.

Thanks for checking in!

No, this issue hasn’t been resolved yet. I’ve tried all the suggestions above, deleting files off of my hard drive, defragging, setting browser security down a level, etc.

Let me know what the techies think!
