Topic tags/keywords: mission craftsman arts crafts stickley greene plans reference books rodel projects design designing joinery

I’m admittedly a huge Stickley/G&G junkey, so I reference Lang’s books, the Stickley catalog and books, various older Popular Mechanics publications, a couple of books I’ve picked up off the shelf at Woodcraft that rank high on if you do some searching, and the big black Japanese joinery book.

What books do you folks reference? I tend to do my own designs or modify existing ones, but reference material is my bread and butter. I’ve been pointed in Rodel’s direction and have really liked his designs. Since I’m out of commission for a few more weeks, due to a little hand injury, I thought I’d educate myself a little more and possibly refine some ideas for future projects. The projects on this site are rapidly becoming a fantasy to-do list in my head. Thanks for all of the great info already shared via private messages.

I hope that others respond as this is something that I find interesting as well. I am hoping to make a Stickley style morris chair soon and would like to have other sources for information, other than the one arts & crafts basic intro book that i currently have.
