I’m putting together the fence for my router table and have a question.

I’m putting a sliding face on it and was going to fasten the two halves with recessed 1/4-20 bolts through the front and a couple of knobs on each side in the rear. The knobs I bought are ‘vibration free’ and have a good bit of friction so I need to sort of lock these guys in.

Should I have just bought frictionless knobs and used my finger on the head when tightening?

I guess I could recess some t-nuts in the the face and use 1/4-20 bolts with knob heads from the rear, but I’d like to use what I already have.

Any ideas?

Epoxy the bolts in place on the movable fence faces.
I would have bought regular knobs.
