Topic tags/keywords: engraved hand engraving southern custom engraving layne zuelke engraved plane ron brese engraving louisiana engraving baton rouge

Here is the latest out of the Southern Custom Engraving shop. I started this project 3 months ago and it’s finally back on the bench doing what it should do. Cutting very fine shavings. This is a Ron Brese smoother, around Stanley 4 1/2 size. Ron’s plane is a work of art in itself. My client let me run with the design and only requested that it have a badger on one side and an Isotria plant on the other. It was a bear to cut the hard stainless but the results were worth all the effort. Hope y’all like it

Very lovely looking, that’s a piece the owner can be proud of every time they pull it off the shelf.
