I thought this TS had been discontinued? Anyway – Looks like a nice option in between the typical contractor saw, and a cabinet saw. Looks like a robust saw with some decent features. At $650, it might be a good value IF it could be picked up in store.

That’s the older 22114 made by Steel City/Orion…..sibling to their former 22124 and current 22116. Must be new old stock (NOS). It’s got fairly beefy cabinet mounted trunnions, 44” of solid cast iron surface, has a 1.5hp 120v/240v motor,and weighs in at a respectable 385#. The fence isn’t overly impressive, but it works. It also predates mandatory riving knives, so comes with a traditional splitter, but the BORK aftermarket riving knife fits it. I loved my 22124, as did most others who owned it. There’s not much out there in a new saw for $650 that eclipses it IMO.
