Topic tags/keywords: humor shop sound

Just came up from the shop and realized the last playing of Rock and Roll Ain’‘t Noise Pollution had too much bass in it. I hate when that happens. Anyone else have a powered sub in their work area?

I know the sound is too high when I can still hear the lyrics over the table saw.

I don’t play music in the shop, as I don’t have noise-cancelling headphones…oh, wait, yes I do. But I want my full concentration on my cutting, and music detracts from that when using power tools. YMMV

Nope. Just a couple custom built tower speakers with Cerwin Vega components and a 200 watt receiver. It makes a little noise but it’s not excessive. However, it is getting louder as I get older… The piano in the garage has some killer low end. How many of you have one in the shop? lol
