Topic tags/keywords: ridgid r4330 planer accu head

Hey does anyone know if Accu-Head is in business? I found a couple new heads from different places on the internet, but it seems there is no company website. I want to upgrade from the straight knifes to try to get longer life between blade changes.

If anyone has the Accu-head in their planer-
1. Do you think it is worth the upgrade based on the longer life of the inserts vs straight knives?
2. Where are you getting the inserts from?

Thanks!

Check with Steel City or Highland Wood Working. I have the accuhead in my ridgid TP1300 and love it.

Have your say...
