I recently picked up a used but rebuilt Delta Delta 46-541P. It did not come with a chuck (the gent I purchased it from kept the chuck he used for his new lathe). I am looking for a chuck so I can turn bowls. Thanks in advance for any help. William

There are several places to buy- Woodcraft, Highland Woodworking, Penn State Industries, etc. Buy the best you can afford. One tip- buy one that uses a key that can open or close the jaws with one hand. This is a common topic on www.woodturner.org.

I was hoping one of the turners might have a good used one for sale or trade

I recently picked up the Supernova 2. It has been very good so far. It was $200 and uses a hex head instead of the standard chuck key looking thing. It is one hand operation and holds very tight, is also spins very true.
