Topic tags/keywords: double-cut saw harbor freight double cut saw

I recently acquired a used Harbor Freight 5” Double Cut Saw – disassembled. The saw seems to work (motor wise, anyway) – but I’m having some trouble trying to figure out how to reattach the spring for the clear blade guard. The manual is no help (to me) whatsoever.

Was wondering if anyone who has one of these tools might be able to snap a picture – or even draw a diagram – of the spring attachment for the blade guard – so that I can see where/how to reattach it onto my tool.

Thanks !!!

TOM

I too just looked at the manual on line. Yep. 100% useless…..like most HF manuals.

If that makes you feel any better :)

Unless that thing is really old and beat up, chances are that HF will replace it if you bring it back.
