I have family in Holiday TX, that I’m trying to get in touch with. My Uncle was scheduled to fly up from OK City for two weeks, but his health changed his plans and now he’s still there. Holiday has been on the southern tip of the storms. I would be freaked out if I was there. Were as their like, as long as it’s down the street, no biggy!

They say 24 3rd grade kids are trapped under a school and presumed dead. sucks

I used to live in KS and OK. Tornados are SCARY….Pray all are okay,

Thanks for your concern Gene. We didn’t have any damage in NE Ok but Moore (suburb of OKC) was devastated again when a tornado vaporized a gradeschool. Our news just said 37 dead so far. Just heartbreaking.

Pray for the children and families in Moore.

Just got a flash from news that they count 51 fatalities so far

So sad to hear of the school and just the number of dead. Simply amazing the destruction that nature can create without any real effort and how powerless we are to stop it. They’re in my prayers.

The death toll has now been revised down to 24. Not good but better than the 51 previously reported.
