I have several of the contrex controllers. I am adapting an air clutch and brake to the lathe so that I dont have to turn the motor on and off all the time. the clutch/brale is set up for 5/8” inch shaft not the 7/8 of a 2hp1725 motor. In order to conserve space and avoid an additional set of pulleys I want to go direct to the Cface mount of the clutch/brake. I will trade both the controler and the motor for just a VFD.
