I’ve studying the technical aspects of woodworking for 15 years, but have only been able to begin physically working wood during the past year as I set up a proper shop. Today I decided to dial-in my chop saw and I’ve nev er done it since I started setting up my shop. Well I adjusted my fence like I’m supposed to and still couldn’t get it to cut perfectly straight. After messing with it, it dawned on me that I needed to change the stock blade. I put myFreud Diablo crosscut blade in my miter saw and man, did it made all the difference in the world. I’ve never seen a miter saw cut this well. I then cut a series of 8 miters on some scraps to form a picture frame to test the miters and lo and behold, Perfection!

Boy, what a great feeling these minor victories give me! Keep ‘em coming.
