Topic tags/keywords: plane question

I found this hand plane at an auction today. There is no identifying marks on it other than U S PAT NO 1914609. Can anyone identify it by the looks???

I think its an early Shelton. Soneone had posted one similar recently. Its a cool lookin plane for darn sure marty.
