Hey, guys I am in the process of planning out a new workbench and I have a question about dogholes. Do you guys drill them all the way through your work top and just let dust fall through them, or do you rill them a certain depth and then have dust collect in them? If they don’t go all the way through do you just vacuum out the dogholes every once in awhile to get the dust and chips out of them?

I tried looking around but couldn’t find an answer to my question.

Thanks

I think dog-holes usually go all the way through.

All the way through, that way you can use holdfasts in them as well as dogs.
