Can you put A DeWalt 925 radial arm saw 235 frame yoke on a 925 230 frame yoke . Also can you tell me why the head plate on my arm does not have A M F in raised letters in it.

Thank You . splinterglue2

I’m shooting from the hip here, but the 925 evolved a little over time (B&D’s continued efforts to ruin a perfectly good design) and that may cause you a problem. Some of the 925 yokes fit on the rollerhead with a kingpin that was held in place by a “dogleg”screw. Others used a flat segmented washer. If you have the rollerhead for one, and the yoke for the other….they may not interchange. AFAIK, the 230 and 235 motors are the same dimensions. But to be honest, this is a question that would be answered with authority over at Delphi Dewalt RAS forums. If you have the motor, the first 4 digits of the serial number on it will give you a clue as to when that saw was made. The fist 2 digits are the year, the second 2 are the month the motor was manufactured. I have one from 1/61 that used the dogleg screw type of mount. I had another that was dated 6/62 and used that infernal segmented washer. Oh, yeh…the plate thing. I’m fairly certain the 925 was never made by AMF, I think it was a B&D introduction.
