hey gang,

just bought a new Lee Craft HT-1 table insert for my porter cable table saw.
this one

it’s not completely flat. If you put a straight edge on it, front to back, it’ll rock back and forth. it’s high in the middle. I checked with a feeler gauge, was off by about 1/32”.

Is this to be expected or should it be 100% flat? Thanks.

Jason

Should be dead flat (all mine were).
Exchange it for another; let leecraft know of the problem.

Defective I’d say. Phenolic should be flat.

for $25 per insert, i’d expect it to define “flat”.

i would think that one wouldn’t depend on some one else getting it flat

otherwise I would be perpetually defeated
