Can someone tell me witch is a better fence on the Grizzly saw, The one that comes with the G0690, or the shop fox that comes with the G1023, and why it is a better fence, I am torn between both saw, but leaning to the G0690!

Thanks in advance

Looking at the two the fences look equal. The only difference I can see with the fence is the face of the G0690 looks to be easier to change if the HDPE material gets nicked or gouged since it has screws holding the material on.

Go with your gut.

Before I bought my 1023RL I went to Springfield to compare the 0690 and 1023 side-by-side. The sales rep and I stood there and compared everything, including the fences, and decided it was a flip of a coin on which was best. I think the 1023 fence compares very well with a Biesemeyer I just sold. I’m sure the 0690 is just as good and you will probably be happy with either saw. There are several threads comparing features of the two saws. My advice: Buy one, and don’t look back or second guess yourself.
