I just wanted to introduce myself, having just joined the site. I, along with my stepson are about to undertake learning some woodworking skills, and have acquired a shopsmith, which we will be picking up next weekend. I know I’ll have lots of questions, and I have already seen that there are lots of highly skilled and generous folks here. Anyway, I’m Lee, and I look forward to the interaction.

Bill, they are pretty good I guess. Though in general, Atlanta is just a bit too big for me. Even after 8 years, I still miss the Birmingham area.

Welcome to LJ’s.

Welcome! There’s a lot of great woodworking stores in the Atlanta area. (I’m over on the east end of the perimeter.)

Welcome Lee.

This is a great site.
Although for Shopsmith specific questions you might want to try the shopsmith forums Lots of friendly helpful folks over there as well. Many of whom frequent this forum as well.
