So finally got around to putting my new bandsaw together and have a bit of an issue with the table. Im hoping someone can point out the bonehead thing I’m doing.

I put the 90° bolt in the table like the instructions said. Mounted the table to the trunnions. It appears the table is about an inch too far forward though. The 90° bolt does not line up with the bolt as the instruction say, and the blade looks like its sitting way too far forward in the slot. I don’t see any way to adjust the trunnions, especially not to move it forward an inch. Any ideas?

The black piece in your photos the bolt in the table is supposed to contact… It swivels out of the way. You can move it a little to align with the bolt in the table. It allows you to tilt the table a little past 90 without losing your 90 setting. I just looked at my bandsaw and it doesn’t look like they line up in the middle of the frame, so that may be throwing you off.

Thanks gt. I had to tap the little black piece with a hammer to get it to move, but everything looks like its good to go now.

The position of the blade in your photo is correct so no problem there.

Not sure about the first picture, but the second one looks like the way mine is set up.

The instructions that came with my 10-325 were excruciatingly awful. A few times I just had to walk away.

I’m happy with it though, so good luck.

-- No, I don't want to buy the pink hammer.

Thanks Sandra. I’ll agree, the instructions w/ the Rikon are pretty poor. Everything is put together and it just needs some fine tuning. The table is tilted forward about 5 degrees from the blade at this point. It was 100 degrees out yesterday, so didnt feel like tinkering with it in the garage.

Have your say...
