looks to be a rikon like BS. 1 hp is certainly enough for most hobbyist tasks, although it might make for a slower pace of resawing. CI wheels wold be better, as would a CI trunion assembly.

-- there's a solution to every just have to be willing to find it.

It wouldnt be the one for me, but is better than the first one I owned years ago. Your near half way to a decent one pricewise. I would hold out for a while.

That looks to be the same as the 12” Rikon, also sold here in the USA by Sears as a Craftsman.
Very nice little saws, but limited to about 6 1/2” resaw capacity.
I have the next smaller size, the 10” Rikon and I really like it.
Mine is great for cutting curves and even ripping small parts I wouldn’t want to use the table saw for.
I want a much bigger machine for resaw work, like a 16” to 19” with about 2 hp, but I would still keep the small Rikon.
