I took advantage of Lee Valleys free shipping a couple of weeks ago and ordered some odds and ends.

Well the order arrived swiftly and the baseball hat that I ordered was not there.

Instead there was a Lee Valley Sun Hat

I just got around to emailing them this evening (Thanksgiving Monday) . . . and you what . . . within 10 minutes I received a return email from Andrew apologizing for the mix-up. He said the correct hat would be sent out to me and that I could keep the sun hat to enjoy the sun next year.

Amazing service.

Lee Valley is amazing. I’m always blown away with high quality service when I talk to them. Let’s face it, LV isn’t a discount house, but they totally get the “Nordstom’s” customer service model.

Maybe Rob Lee should buy an airline… I would like to fly for him! <g>

The one I ordered was a cotton baseball hat.

The Sun Hat is polyester micro-fiber and is very light weight with a neck flap to prevent sunburn. Could have used this hat this past summer as I sufered a nasty sunburn on my neck while staining a deck. Ouch.
