I have two.

a 4×12 Bosch which I really like for big work. It’s also better in one way than the respectable PC because you can turn it upside down on it’s flat top without the dust bag getting in the way, to rough sharpen chisels and sand small pieces.
I know a carpenter who built a plywood stand for it. I want to make one too but…it’s on the list.

a 3×10 Makita which works fantastic for detailing a crown cope or sanding a cabinet scribe to the wavy line, holding it with one hand. Same deal with the flat top – a much needed feature on any sander.

I can’t seem to kill this Makita so I can justify buying/ trying the new PC baby belt sander.

a 6×48 / 12” disc sanding station rounds out the group. Buy em all!
