So my birthday is November 2 and my girl says I can find something worth about a bill. What should I tell her I want? Any ideas welcome!

Tell her you’d really rather have her send the money to me! Sorry that’s not the answer you wanted to hear.

How about thinking about what projects you want to do and what tool would make that easier then go with that.

Good luck on deciding. Really though if you can’t come up with anything – let me know and I’ll be glad to take this problem off your hands!!! :-)

I should give a part of it to Martin.

Christopher,

Happy Birthday day (to be) I’ve got you beat by a day (mine’s Nov 1).
I think if you shop at the link below, you do give a part to the site/Martin

Well an Amazon gift certificate can’t be too bad. Not only could you grab a great woodworking book or video (often for dirt cheap!) but you can also get tools there too.

Christopher, Happy Birthday. How nice of her to think of you. I’d suggest finding some good hard wood and build something for HER!. Perhaps a delicate box with fancy joinery for her keepsakes. It’s win-win situation.

Christopher, Happy Birthday, THAT’S my BIRTHDAY TOO, SEND HALF TO ME!!
Like the others say, you can’t have too big a wood pile!
