I have a D4 and for some reason am having difficulty aligning the side with the front or back. The jig has no adjustment here and comes that way. I have made sure the fingers are square to the rail as I cant see anything else that could cause this. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks, Elvis

from what i think you are saying just move the finger assembly forward or backward. if the assembly is at a screw that could cause some problems too.

elvis,

Could you provide a photo, or a sketch, or something similar, so that I can better understand the problem you are having? I also have used a D4 for several years, but I have NO idea what you are talking about.

  1. Are you having trouble aligning the work piece?
  2. Are you having trouble aligning the finger assembly?
  3. Is one side of the jig itself actually misaligned?
  4. Which rail are you talking about?

I have and understand a D4R, and also don’t understand the question. Photos or sketches would be helpful.
