watch this nickel test. pay particular attention to the relationship of the nickel, the blade and the operator’s hand:

Wow his hand was within a couple inches of the blade and the nickel was almost on it.

Two things…wow….
The nickel that close is a potential projectile …not too smart…
His hand that close to the blade screwing with that nickel…made me cringe…
Thanks for sharing this

Hmmm, that is just not a smart thing to do. Wonder if he had hit the moonshine before doing that….
All that nickel had to do was roll towards the blade and make contact….

Wow… just wow.

Not sure what his obsession with the nickel test is either. He’s posted two “reviews” of this saw but they both just involve showing how a nickel can stand up on edge.

This is a very good example of what not to do; I sincerely hope his luck hasn’t run out.

Is “dumbass” one word or two?

I guess he did put the banana peel in the trash.

One big issue was when he blew on the nickel. Instant rocket. I believe dumdass is in fact one word.

And the purpose of the test was to demonstrate IQ, launch US coinage or trim finger nails?

Why? I just don’t get the reasoning behind this “review” because it isn’t a review. However, had his hated neighbor been standing behind the saw blade it would have made much more since. A projectile nickel at a difficult neighbor could have made that video very entertaining…

More like a couple of centimeters! Not very wise…

WAS That a SawStop??

only if “sawstop” suddenly changed their spelling to CRAFTSMAN. that’s what made it so potentially dangerous.

I think it is two words, “dum bass”.
