Topic tags/keywords: question vintage screw driver

I’ve been a craftsman of necessity for 50+ years, but have a very nice home wood shop where I make all types of furniture. I teach a class in old hand tool restoration and use, at the Pleasant Hill Adult School nearby. I also teach photography there. I’m an active member of the DiabloWoodworkers.
Yesterday a friend gave me an old wooden handled screwdriver, which I of course restored right away! When I removed the handle to clean the blade, I read the following, stamped into the steel: GASTSTELL WARRANTED. Any ideas what this refers to? The screwdriver looks identical to a Marples.

Sounds like the stamps got blurred, from CAST STEEL WARRANTED to yours.
