I noticed that there are a few Bob Dylan fans on Lumberjocks.

Bob Dylan grew up in our town of Hibbing, MN.

Hey Dick, Thanks for the link for those of us who still enjoy the great music of Dylan!

Hi Dick and Barb … Thanks for posting this link. I’m enjoying listening to it right now … I’ll pass it along to my boys, who are also big Bob Dylan fans. We all went to see his latest show at Saratoga Performing Arts Center with Levon Helm, Steve Earle and a bunch of others. I’ve seen Bob a number of times, but as far as creativity goes, imho, this was his best show ever. He did a lot of his old stuff, completely rearranged, retempoed, restyled, whatevered, to the point that it took sometimes a good part of the song until you figured out what song it was. Like, when the line, ‘it’s all right mom, I’m only bleeding’ came out. The last song of the encore, I was totally not getting and my older son was just cracking up. I finally had to ask and when he told me, I had to crack up too …. it was ‘Blowin in the Wind’ .... One more thing, while we were walking out, someone in the crowd said to Sam ‘I liked the show but those songs must have all been from his new album …. ’ wow…
Heres’ a link to some you tube stuff from the concert if you’re interested. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Y1z0-lPaq8 Also, you can check out my blog entry ‘a walk in the woods’ if you have a minute…
