I’ve been using Photoshop for many years so I’m familiar (not proficient) with it and now a family member wants me to print some pictures from a video. I’ve never done that and don’t know which Adobe product I need to download.

Anyone else know? I spent quite awhile on the Adobe site and can’t even find the appropriate forum to post the question!

Thanks

Sheri

What you really need is a video editing program that will let you cut out from the video to print. I’m not even certain that photoshop can open videos though I haven’t played with anything new since CS2. Not the easiest but doable is to play the video on the screen, pause when you get the exact spot you want(this is the hardest part and annoying), click the print screen command on you keyboard and paste into photoshop. You can then crop to size.

Thanks Russ, I was thinking that one of the Adobe products in their Creative Suite was a video editing program, but now I’m thinking maybe not. I’ll have to research video editing progrms.

I believe you will need Adobe Premier CS6 for video editing but it “ain’t” cheap ~$700!

You may want to check with some of the open source video editing like Gimp is the open source photo editor comparable to Photoshop.
