This is for sale in my neck of the woods on Craigslist. I can get it pretty cheap and I was hoping one of you guys would know what kind it is. The person selling it does not know the make. I don’t have a band saw at the moment and I was hoping this would do for a time.

Hopefully the picture comes out

Can’t help identify the manufacturer, but it looks like a 14” C-frame saw that is patterned after Delta’s design.

If it is a Delta (or a Delta knockoff), there are plenty of places you can get parts to rebuild/repair … check out: http://www.sawcenter.com/bandsaw_parts.htm

Thanks Gerry, I thought it might be some sort of Delta. But that is a great place for parts, Thanks a million!

Quite certain it is a Delta. On that vintage the badge was on the upper sheet metal cover.

And is that a red Magna in the background?

Kindly,

Lee

iturra design probably knows more about those older delta 14” band saws than the folks that currently own delta.

Definitely not a 14”... pretty sure it is a Delta 10” model #768

Cheers,

Brad has it right … see: http://vintagemachinery.org/photoindex/detail.aspx?id=163

Looks like one beefy piece of machinery. What kind of price is the seller asking for it?
