I live in Kingsland, Georgia and I would like to find a sawmill locally. Kingsland is just 30 minutes from Jacksonville Fl. via I-95. If anyone knows of a sawmill for hardwoods, close by, I would really appreciate a reply as to where it is. Thanks.

Just for clarification, are you looking for a place to buy hardwoods, or a person or place that can cut logs into lumber for you?

If you are looking for someone that has a mill, contact the saw mill manufacturers. They keep a list of who owns their molls and where they are.

Guys, I’m looking for a place to buy hardwood other than a retail store that charges an arm and a leg for it. I think it would be less expensive to drive my pickup to a sawmill and buy it directly from the source.

You could buy it from me, but I am 3 1/2 hours away. I have a friend that is located near Jacksonville that has a portable sawmill if you have logs that he can saw and you can dry. However, that is a LOT of work. I know…........
