There have been many times on here that people have commented on my projects, comments, forums, etc…and I say thank you, but I really don’t feel like that is enough. I know we all have busy lives, but you guys still take the time to help so many others like they are a friend that lives down the road. 99% of the members are so kind and helpful, and for that I am truly greatful. I have gotten so much help and gained so much knowledge from the members of this website. There have been a few time when someone has been rude or said something unnecessary, and I tend to let it get to me. But then I come back and look and see that there are members that have jumped in, taken up for me, and made me feel better… and for that, I want to say thank you:) It is nice to know that even though we don’t know each other in person, there are still people on here that care what others think and how they feel. I really appreciate everything everyone has done for me on here. I just wanted to take the time to thank everyone that has shared their knowledge, given me any words of advice, taken up for me, and helped me in anyway. So, when I say thank you, it is not just a habit I am used to typing, I truely mean it! So enough with the sappy stuff. Wipe away the tear and get back to the shop;)

There are a few naturally rude people. This site has shown how many people there are across the planet. Focus on them. The rude ones aren’t enjoying their lives either. Most people here have had help along the way and most are willing to pass it along. Continue asking and we will continue answering.

I too have experienced similar things interacting with Lj’s as you. A very positive and inviting atmosphere is my perspective and it shows. The sharing of projects and pictures on this site are better than any similar by far IMO. I’m hooked on this site.

”...It is nice to know that even though we don’t know each other in person, there are still people on here that care what others think and how they feel….”

Don’t forget to count yourself as one of them! (I’ve noticed that one of the primary offending members has been pleasantly absent from recent discussions)

I would second your opinion about the site and the people that belong to Lumberjocks. I hope that you always feel welcome here, Shelly.

am sure as you progress with your woodworking (and your new saw) that you will be very helpful to the newbies and the rest of us with problems we may have in the future, so, thank you in advance.
