When you all make a tissue box cover – how tight do you make the fit of the tissue box to the wood box? The ones I see at the store always seem to be very loose. But do you size for a light friction fit or for a tight hard push fit? In other words – how much slop do you measure into the box size?

Thanks in advance.

light friction fit. the ones at the stores are loose so they can accept all different brands because even though they are pretty much standardized sizes they still differ slightly from manufacturer. if you plan to use it with many different brands go for a looser fit but if you plan to stick to one brand you can go for a tighter fit.
