I’ve been trying in vain for the past few years to get a replacement part for my drill press. I own an 18 speed drill press made by Omaha Industrial tools that I bought at an auction. It’s not a bad drill press, but a few years ago a family member, who didn’t know how to use it, was trying to lower the table and snapped the metal track that the tray travels up and down on (about 3 to 4 feet long, 3/8 inches thick by 3/4 of an inch wide, covered in grooves). I tried contacting the company but they only deal with merchants and not the public and I haven’t been able to find a place where I can get a replacement. Does anybody have any ideas about where I can get a replacement or something else that might do the job? |
