I took the weekend off and helped a friend cover the Nostalgic Drag Races in Sealy, Tx. Here are a few of my favorites. Lots of old timers there. Cars had to be 1973 models or older.

Hope you like them.
Mike

I dreamed of owning a car like this many times but never could afford to build one like it. 55 Chevy with blown 502 cu in engine. The owner is a young 70 years old! Living life large. :-)

Your 70 year old friend has the right idea: “Go big or go home!” Thanks for the memories.

Mine was a 1970 SS 396 El Camino

That red Nova almost got me!

The pics have been uploaded to the photographers website. The filenames of my pics all start with “MTH”. Russell shoots Nikon so his have the “DSCfilenames.

I’d take just about anything with tubs as big as that teal (don’t know the proper color name) Chevy. She really is a dreamboat though with great attention to detail. Love the side exit exhaust as well. Great pics, glad I came across them. Thanks for sharing.
