Anyone know where I can find a quick disconnect system for 6” hose? 4” stuff is everywhere, but I haven’t seen anything for 6”.

The shop isn’t at a point yet where I want to plumb everything permanently so I’m still dragging the hose around the shop and its a pain to fit the hose on and clamp it down every time.

Menards.

Schedule 35 sewer and drain pipe fit in 6” flex I purchased through Wynn Environmental. I’m enlarging the tool collection ports to 6” schedule 35 couplings so I can plug the 6” pipe right into it.

I do it kinda like John, except the flex that I use is tough to get over the sewer and drain pipe that I have, so I slip the flex inside a coupler and make my dust ports from the S&D pipe itself.

If this isn’t clear, pictures 14 – 16 in this article show the tool ports and the flex/coupler combo: https://www.wwgoa.com/articles/projects/-d-o-g-simple-approach-for-dust-collection-ducting/
