Topic tags/keywords: help beer caps donation

Since I am only 15 I am legally not aloud to drink alcohol and since I am busy making a project for my brother which includes beer caps I need some. I have looked on the internet (ebay etc) but have only found blank caps etc.The project I am busy on is a serving tray with a difference the backer board will have many beer bottle caps stuck to it the on top of them will be a sheet of plexiglass, very simple to make (apart from the beer caps). So I am calling out to fellow woodworkers for help it would be great if you could help me out and send as many beer caps as you can fit in an envelope instead of throwing these caps away.

Many Thanks Chad

Check with some establishments that serve bottled beer….I’m sure they’d be happy to give them away.

What knot said,
When pubs open a bottle of beer the top falls into a square metal can. By the end of the night that can has been emptied a few time.

They took the words right out of my mouth. Besides I get my beer in the cans.

A different twist for sure. I’ve seen money, beer and wine labels , even sea shells embeded in bar tops and trays. Good idea.

Have your say...
