A friend, and fellow woodworker, of mine was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. He’s a family man with 2 kids and has been a great resource of woodworking questions for me. We are going to put on a fundraising benefit to help with medical expenses. I’m seeing if there are any LJ’s in the Twin Cities, Minnesota, metro area that have some old projects they would like to donate.
He’s not a LJ, but does visit the site. If anyone has anything they would like to donate, I would be more than willing to come pick it up. I’m going to be making some cutting boards as the benefit is in the middle of May.
Please PM if you have anything at all that you would be willing to donate. I know his family, and myself, appreciate anything. There will be a lot of physicians at this benefit, so hopefully things will go for high dollar.
