Topic tags/keywords: question scroll saw

I’m trying to find more information about this type of scroll saw…and can’t find any information on the item itself. It looks like it was put on a sewing machine base…because I don’t think there was a “Domestic” brand…but then I don’t know. If you have any knowledge…I’m all ears and eyes for your information. view number 1

I ca’t tell you anything about the saw itself.
But the link below should answer the question about the Domestic base.

No idea but solid it does look and solid I do like. Looks like you may have a jewel here!

A little quick research at owwm found this look-alike:
http://www.owwm.com/photoindex/detail.aspx?id=7066

He has it listed as a Powr-Kraft 16” scroll saw vintage 1930’s. I’d say that’s a keeper! OWWM is a great source of info on any old power tools.

See? Ask a question, get an answer…and a correct answer at that. It’s in the 1936 catalog. Superb! Thanks for all the help!!!
