General consensus is that it’s a very good bang for the buck. I don’t have any experience with it myself, but these people do:

Instead of buying from Amazon (you’re not really buying from them anyway, it’s shipped and sold by Grizzly through Amazon), I’d troll around on here and try to score a 10% off Grizzly coupon (came from last month’s WWJ) and order directly from Grizzly instead.

Grizzly has very good customer service, if you ever have a issue they get on it quick and get it resolved. Nice people. Never had an issue with something broken but after I ordered something and recieved it I got another package that was not ordered by me, or paid for by me. I explained I would send the three items back, they told me “Keep them thanks for your business.” I continue to get smaller items as that is about all I have room for these days. Waiting on that winning lottery ticket to build the new big enough shop…. (laughing)

If you live close to one of their showrooms, you could check for their scratch/dent sale. It might be cheaper. I have a jointer and planer from them and both are a good value. I was told by a friend that he had the opportunity to tear down a Grizzly TS and a new Powermatic. They are the same machine except for the paint and the knobs. HTH

I think I saw a thread about Grizzly having a spring sale and something about 10% off coupon, you might investigate those things before you pill the trigger on a new grizzly tools. I’d look on their web site rather than Amazon.
