Has anyone ever heard of this rare Skilsaw worm-drive saw? It’s a model 117 “Groover Saw.”

Yeah we use them to gang cut birds mouths on rafters the one we have at work isn’t a skil original but a kit added to a skil 77

I think Skil stopped making them in 1971 or before that
and guys started building their own after that.

I haven’t seen one of those in a long time! I always hated running it, with the massive set of dados stacked up it was loud. We used it to cut birds mouths on rafters, I was scared of it and always cringed when my boss told me to go get it out of the truck.
