Not really woodwork related so I will stuff it in here. I have read a number of threads where people have indicated they might lose the thread later, or not be able to find it etc. Despite the fact there are favorites/bookmarks etc., this can happen with useful website posts, other blogs etc. This can easily happen if you frequent numerous blog sites forums etc. “where did I see that…..yadda yadda?”.
So I wanted to share with you a small (free) program I use daily. It’s called Evernote (https://evernote.com/). You can use to save anything, write notes in meetings, shopping lists etc., and it has a web clipper download that will take any page you are on and put it in your Evernote “folder”. Notes can be indexed, tagged, sorted and grouped, shared, emailed etc. Here’s the best part: It is web-based and available for just about any platform, PC, MAC, iPad, Android and probably others.
This means that all your notes, lists and web pages are available on any device you own. When the device connects to the web it “syncs” and updates any clips or notes you wrote on another device.
Give it a try, I am sure you will love it.
