Topic tags/keywords: new project woodworking office

I have been wanting to do a simple project for my office to show some skill and entice some of them to commission some work. I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas for a simple project that would take some skill to do but impressive looking. It should also be appropriate for an office setting and not something out of place or distracting. I am mainly a hand tool guys and have not really explored anything like marquetry and inlay or turning. Any suggestions would be helpful.
