KREG PRECSION MITER GAUGE

I just added a Kreg Precision Miter Gauge my shop. I know there are a lot of choices out there but I really like the quality of KREG . I got this at the Rockler Memorial Day sale with their 25% (email customers) off coupon. Turned out to be a great deal!

My wife joking calls me ”Kreg” because I like their products so much! As you all know I really like the Kreg Pocket Screw System I use it a lot in my shop. I discussed the Pocket Screw System a previous blog entry.

This miter gauge is awesome – it was spot on the money right out of the box!
The packaging was incredible, the instruction manual easy to use and the build quality is impeccable

Thanks for the writeup David. I hadn’t seen one closeup. I went with an Incra a few years back and really enjoy it. That Kreg looks like it’s as well built as the rest of the Kreg line. It’s nice that it was bang on right out of the box.

I won a woodhaven miter gauge for winning a contest on their web site. Unfortunately it won’t fit my table saw because I’ve got different slots.

Maybe some day on another saw.

Great post David. I’ve got the Jessem and like it a lot. They look pretty similar.

Thanks guys!

I figured this might prompt some input about other miter gauges which will be useful for anyone considering a purchase.

That Jessem is pretty nice. I put an Incra 1000SE in an Incra Mitre Express for all my sled work and use the 1000SE bare for mitre cuts on the tablesaw…

Wayne & Mot -

Thanks – this is exactly what I had hoped. It is good to see as many options as possible and an individual’s experiences with a tool.

Great looking Miter Gauge! Looks sturdy enough that’s for sure.

I have a Incra 3000 and I really like the 1/2 degree increments and the stop. Don’t know what I would do without it.

David,
I have the Miter Gauge too! I love it… right out of the box, the accuracy was perfect. A far better choice than the stock one!

Have you seen the new Klamp Table and Router Table from Kreg? I am excited to get some new tools!
