This saw has a 16” max re-saw height. Nice safe push “stick” along with with a unique blade guide. A true Monster band saw. HD

WOW!

I’d say THAT is one ”kick butt” bandsaw alright!!
LOOKS like a GREAT Bandsaw! ... looking forward to seeing how it works!

... and FREE SHIPPING…. (easily included in the price, by the looks of it) LOL

How long is the Blade?

Ever use these WoodSlicer blades ? Can you get them that big?

Joe, I do ALOT of resawing and have some upcoming projects that will require some serious ’ UMPH”, and at 16” resaw capacity, and 5 hp that’s what I am looking for, there are not alot of reviews on the Baileigh woodworking stuff., but the metal working products stand up well , and I figure if they have enough “guts” to throw them selves to the internet world, then they must have a product that can stand the scrutiny.

As to the Woodslicer blades, I agree they are excellent, but will see what this saw requires, and go from there, stay tuned.

I think it’s about time Charles upgraded from his current resaw setup…

Well unless Stumpy can “make me a band saw” , I have to do something, I currently have 3 “other” band saws, (remember I do this for a living) , and they are the “big names”, and they are simply not “cutting” it. What started this was resawing 100 bf of Masscassar( sp) ebony , and having issues, and at 40.00- 60.00 a bf , there is not much room for error. I have wrestled with these band saws for years, bought the best blades, guides and so forth , tweaked and tuned and on an on , just got totally frustrated and decided it was time to make a change.?

Shane,
Look under the specifications on that band saw, it says:
Maximum Depth of Cut 16
16 feet is a lot of resaw!better change that to inches soon.
