I have several wide, single board drawer fronts, the biggest being 10 1/2” wide by 29” long.
The drawer front screws seem to have mostly corrected it, but I’m worried that since the bottom screws are so far up from the edge (given the 1/2” space for slides, 1/2” bottom, and then space to hold the drill) that it might still want to curl up on the bottom edge.
Do you guys ever run a few screws underneath the drawer bottom in that little 1/2” strip of hardwood?
The wood was air dried several years, then acclimated inside my house for at least a month before milling and finishing. Any reason to expect problems?
