I live in the NE corner of NJ.
I have found Boards N Beams in Fairfield.
Are there any other good suppliers in the area?

Have you tried Dykes lumber. Or Kuhken Brothers.

I had to fill in some wood for another project and found Dykes (17 South) a bit pricey with limited variety. Does Kuhken carry a full variety of hard woods in 8/4 stock?

The main store should. I know they have most of the stock in Midland Park. Also Dykes has more than one location.

I’m in Central NJ – I haven’t found anyone yet I like

Went to Boards and Beams – wasn’t impressed – maybe I had a bad experience

I just keep tabs on Craigslist – staying with rough cut for now

Still looking for a good plywood vendor though

I’m in central NJ also. I go to NJ Hardwoods in North Plainfield for a lot of stuff. I also go to Fox Lumber in Clinton, Blue Ridge Lumber in Hackettstown. Mendham Plywood has a remarkable supply of different plywoods. They are in Mendham. There is also Willard Bros outside of Trenton and US Mahogany in Arberdeen. Hope that helps.

Have you tried ML Condon in White Plains, NY?
