I would much rather say “my first cheap/free find for the workshop”. However, I will abide by LJ prescriptions. Anyway, my brother-in-law liquidates store property for companies that have gone out of business or closed a location. He was at a store on the weekend, I stopped by to see him and ended up with some additional shop storage and a bench stool. The cabinets and stool came out of a pharmacy that was relocating. You tell me how I did since all I had to do was haul it home. It was destined for the dumpster and about 75 others made it to the landfill in the sky.

Pretty nice find, especially with that Ridgid sander attached.

Looks good to me. Lots of storage in there. Can’t beat the price, that is for sure.

I was able to get the same cabinets a few years ago from a Pharmacy that closed. Only I wasn’t as lucky as you to get them with locks. Did you get keys? Great find. Pretty heavy aren’t they

Nothing better then free !

Back in the day I bought some some heavy plate glass mirror from a old Walgreen’s soda fountain pharmacy.
The thick heavy stuff.

I made a bunch of wood frames and each of my kids got one.

Nothing beats heavy duty commercial quality pharmacy salvage items.

For me I used some of the plate mirror as the back of our Dan’um Style china cabinet.

Great find, got some cabinets from a Blockbuster that closed, alot of stuff hardware and spare wood and tabletops. Nothing like saving alot of money on the shp stuff to then spend on the project stuff.

A well-deserved bloat.

Be careful with any loose medications you find in the bottom of the cabinets.
