Topic tags/keywords: question

I know this is a woodworking site but I think wood could coexist with metal. I would like to start incorporating metal in my woodworking project. We don’t see any of these projects at LJ but I know there has to be other LJers who would like to or do use metal in there projects. My question is what equipment do you own and use. I am looking to buy a mig welder a grizzly metal band saw and a plasma cutter. Any feedback or info would be great and i will only post my wood projects on the site. Thanks Will

There are some of us here that do metal work also. I have been doing mostly metal lately and have not been posting as it is off topic.

Mini-lathe and mill. Bandsaw. New horizontal bandsaw on the way.

Just starting out with metal work so most projects have been tooling or machine improvements. Right now I am converting my mini-lathe to tapered gibs. Also been learning how to do some other things. A couple really slow moving CNC projects as well. CNC router and 3D printer. Not in any hurry so it seems that they are taking forever.
